What BrightSide does

BrightSide creates private memoirs and personal biographies for families. The person the book is about takes part in guided conversations held online, from home. We shape those conversations into a narrative biography, written and edited by BrightSide, with the family’s restored photographs placed throughout.

The result is a clothbound hardcover, printed and bound in New England, with 10 to 20 finished books for the family. BrightSide coordinates the project from the first conversation to delivery.

How we look after your clients

The families you introduce are treated with the same discretion you would expect of any trusted adviser.

Never published: Your family’s book is private. It is never publicly published.
Never used in marketing: Client photographs and stories are never used to promote BrightSide.
Used only for your book: Interviews and project materials are used only to create the biography you commissioned.
Approved by you: The family reviews the manuscript before anything goes to production.
In writing: Every commission is covered by a written confidentiality agreement.
